Terms of Service

1. What Rift Is

Rift is invite-only software for running a creator business: tracking brand deals through a pipeline, generating and emailing payment receipts, planning content, viewing analytics, and — for managers — operating multiple creator profiles from one account. Access requires an invite code issued by the platform operator ("we", "us").

2. What Rift Is Not

• Rift does not process, hold, or transfer money. No payment gateway, wallet, or escrow exists in the product. All payments — between you and brands, between managers and creators, and between you and us for access — happen entirely outside the platform.
• Documents generated in Rift are labeled "Payment Receipt" and are records of payment only. They are not tax invoices and do not compute GST, VAT, sales tax, TDS, or any other tax.
• Rift provides no legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Analytics, health scores, and reports are informational computations over the data you enter.
• Rift does not connect to social media platforms. All performance metrics are entered manually by users and are not verified by us.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

You sign in with a Google account and must provide accurate information at onboarding. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. One person per account; keep your Google credentials secure — activity under your session is your responsibility.

4. Access, Fees & Suspension

Access is granted per the arrangement made with us when your invite code was issued, typically a recurring fee collected outside the platform. If a managed creator's subscription lapses, the account is automatically paused and, after seven days, unlinked from its manager, as described in the product. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, or breach of these terms.

5. Manager & Creator Relationships

A manager who operates a creator profile can see and edit all business data on that profile. This relationship is reversible at any time: managers can remove a creator (immediately or at the end of the billing period), and creators with login access can remove their manager from Settings. Rift is not a party to any agreement between managers and creators; disputes between them are theirs to resolve.

6. Your Data & Our License

You own the business data you enter. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, display, and transmit it solely to operate the service (e.g. computing analytics, emailing a receipt you asked us to send). We claim no other rights over your content.

7. Acceptable Use

• No attempting to access data that is not yours, probing, or circumventing access controls.
• No using the email features to send spam, deceptive, or unlawful content.
• No reselling, sharing, or transferring invite codes or account access.
• No uploading unlawful material or content that infringes others' rights.

8. Availability & Changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", on independent third-party infrastructure (hosting, database, email delivery). We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change, add, or remove features. For material adverse changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users.

9. Termination & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone; this permanently removes your profile and business data. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms. Sections that by nature survive termination (liability limits, disputes) survive.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the access fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of deals, revenue, or data caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update is acceptance. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
